100 Days Reading Campaign.

  TARGET GROUP:

Children studying in Balvatika to Grade VIII will be part of this campaign.

They will further be categorized in three groups class wise: 

GROUP I: BALVATIKA TO GRADE II 

GROUP II: GRADE III TO GRADE V 

GROUP III: GRADE VI TO GRADE VIII V. 

DURATION OF THE CAMPAIGN: The reading campaign will be organized for 100 days (14 weeks) starting from January 2022 to April 2022.

AT NATIONAL LEVEL FOLLOWING ACTIVITIES WILL BE UNDERTAKEN TO KEEP THE MOMENTUM OF THE CAMPAIGN:

Organise ‘READATHON’ on the lines of Toycathon Awareness Drive:

 Press releases, Social media campaign, infographics, etc. 

Story telling by Hon’ble Education Minister, State Ministers, Chief Ministers, State Education Ministers, etc. in regional languages

Webinars on the importance of reading Video/Audio message from Children book writers (Ruskin Bond, Shudha Murthy, Nilesh Misra for story telling) 

Reading Aloud of stories by teachers as well as community members in regional languages Partnership with CSOs, FM channels, Newspapers (local and regional)

Story telling sessions to be organised by involving Parents and Grand Parents.

Celebration of 21st February as International Mother Tongue Day Kahani Padho Apni Bhasa Main (Reading story in own language) to be conducted across the country during this period.

States and UTs may also explore other resources such as

Constitution day of India (National Law Day)


 On the occasion of Samvidhan Diwas(Constitution Day Of India) on 26th November 2021 is going to be celebrated as a part of the Azadi ka Amrit Mohotsav .On this occasion you all have to participate in two activities- reading preamble and quiz.
*1.Reading preamble to the constitution in 23 language.(22 official languages and English)
*2.Portal for "Online Quiz On Constitutional Democracy".

These portal for reading preamble to the constitution and online Quiz on Constitutional Democracy(mpa.gov.in/constitution-day) will be operational on 26 November
