According to the Constitution of India, the rights of children include:

● Right to free and compulsory elementary education for all children in the 6-14 year age group

● Right to be protected from any hazardous employment

● Right to early childhood care and education

● Right to be protected from abuse.

● Right to be protected from the economic necessity to enter occupations unsuited to their age or strength

● Right to equal opportunities and facilities to develop in a healthy manner

● Right to freedom and dignity and guaranteed protection of childhood and youth against exploitation

National Education Day - India

 Every year since 2008, November 11 is celebrated as education day to commemorate the birth anniversary of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad. He served as the first Education Minister of independent India, who served from 15 August 1947 until 2 February 1958. National Education Day of India is celebrated on  11 November every year. The day is also seen as an occasion to remember Azad's contribution in laying the foundations of the education system in an independent India, and evaluating and improving the country's current performance in the field.

KV Matanhail is organizing following awareness activity for the students and teachers of the vidyalaya :

Program schedule for "National Education Day"

All teachers and students have to join the link by 8:10 am maximum. 


1. Vidyalaya prayer :- 8:15 am

2. Bhasha Sangam :- by the student of class 8.

3. Quiz competition :- by Zafar Sir at 8:30 am. 


4. Inaugural program :- Welcome speech by Dr. Seema Ma'am ( after quiz) 

5. Chief guest speech :- by our Principal Sir. 

6. Elocution competition:- be hosted by Mrs. Namrata. 

7. Judges for the competition will be :-
