Notice
‘Fit India Quiz’ is an initiative by the KV Matanhail to create awareness among students and teachers crossways regarding fitness, health and nutrition. This activity aims to engage, excite and enable students to motivate them towards fitness and raise awareness about fitness through an interactive learning process.
The Fit India Quiz contains MCQ based on the fitness, health, indigenous games and nutrition. These questions are designed to motivate to get fit by leaning about various matters related to health such as what kind of activities help in gaining fitness, what kind of diets help in remaining fit, and what kind of indigenous sports are played in our country. Through this fun and interactive quiz, participants would have the opportunity to not only test their knowledge about fitness and win attractive prizes but also get motivated in getting fit.
The overall objective of the Fit India Quiz is to bring about physical and to adopt healthy lifestyle through the KVS.

National Education Day - India
Every year since 2008, November 11 is celebrated as education day to commemorate the birth anniversary of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad. He served as the first Education Minister of independent India, who served from 15 August 1947 until 2 February 1958. National Education Day of India is celebrated on 11 November every year. The day is also seen as an occasion to remember Azad's contribution in laying the foundations of the education system in an independent India, and evaluating and improving the country's current performance in the field.
KV Matanhail is organizing following awareness activity for the students and teachers of the vidyalaya :
Program schedule for "National Education Day"

All teachers and students have to join the link by 8:10 am maximum.
1. Vidyalaya prayer :- 8:15 am
2. Bhasha Sangam :- by the student of class 8.
3. Quiz competition :- by Zafar Sir at 8:30 am.
4. Inaugural program :- Welcome speech by Dr. Seema Ma'am ( after quiz)
5. Chief guest speech :- by our Principal Sir.
6. Elocution competition:- be hosted by Mrs. Namrata.

The Two-year long commemoration period of the 150th
Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi will be concluding on 2nd October, 2020. To
celebrate the occasion, The Department of school education and Literacy has collaborated
with National Council of National Council of Educational Research and
Training(NCERT) to organize a quiz on Mahatma Gandhi.
The Quiz is designed carefully to assess the knowledge and"
understanding of Life, Works and Values that Mahatma Gandhi stood for. The

items are meant For children from

primary classes-III to V,
Middle-
VI to VIII and
Secondary
/Senior Secondary IX to XII.
The
questions will be available in Hindi and English medium.
The quiz portal can be accessed
